Up & Over Canopy Doors (Over-Head)
These doors generally have a long spring or spring box fitted to the head of the door frame with cables running from plastic cones or pulley wheels down the sides attached to roller spindles that lift the door. When open approximately a third of the door protrudes from the garage to form a canopy (Over-Head). These doors need a bow or scissor arm conversion kit for automation.
Retractable Up & Over Doors (Fully Retractable)
Springs are situated down each side of the frame with tracks suspended from the ceiling. These doors are suitable for automation without the need of a conversion kit.
Sectional Doors (Up & Over)
The spring’s on these doors are generally fitted above the door to the rear of the frame but can also be  attached to the rear of the ceiling mounted tracks. The door lifts vertically and break’s into three or more sections as it rises. These doors are suitable for automation.
